I know how challenging that can feel when you’re juggling a 9-to-5 job, long commutes, deadlines, and the desire to still show up for your friends, your goals, and your best self. I’ve been there, and that’s why my approach is built for real life. With a passion for wellness and a focus on balance, I design programs that help you find strength, stability, and confidence without burning out. How I did it
In 2011, I took a leap of faith. Leaving behind Greece, I moved to New York City to study engineering. I was uncertain about the future, but I knew one thing for sure—I loved creating, solving problems, and designing. The city’s relentless energy was overwhelming at first. Yet, amidst the chaos, I discovered yoga—a quiet, sacred space where I could breathe freely, express myself without fear, and find my center. When I was young, I tried many activities—volleyball, swimming, handball, dance—looking for something that felt right. But nothing truly stuck with me like yoga. Yoga quickly became my sanctuary, a place where I could reconnect with my soul in the midst of the city’s hustle.
Five years later, after earning my Master’s in Engineering, I landed my first full-time job, a milestone I had worked tirelessly for. Alongside that achievement, I finally enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training—a dream I had carried for years. Those months were nothing short of transformative. I practiced endlessly, peeling back layers of self-doubt and fear. Through every pose and meditation, I realized that yoga was more than movement; it was a profound tool for connection, growth, and healing. I felt a calling to share this gift with others, to help them find their own light amidst life’s chaos.
Balancing a demanding corporate career in construction while nurturing my passion for teaching wasn’t easy—especially as an immigrant woman navigating a field traditionally dominated by men. But in 2021, I was reminded of my purpose. I launched my podcast, No More Distractions, a space for others to reconnect with themselves amidst busy lives. I interviewed inspiring professionals—psychologists, yoga teachers, sound healers, astrologists—all seeking to bridge the gap between mind and body. Each conversation reaffirmed my belief that true strength lies in vulnerability and authentic connection.
By 2023, I felt a deep yearning to do more than just inspire through words and podcasts. I craved real, tangible community—a space where people could come together, share their stories, and embody the spirit of Namaste city. So, I began hosting in-person yoga events throughout NYC. These gatherings became more than classes; they turned into communal rituals of authenticity, acceptance, and love. Watching strangers become friends, witnessing their transformation on and off the mat, reaffirmed my purpose. This year, I realized that the true power of yoga isn’t just in individual practice, but in creating a collective energy that uplifts and heals us all.
Having completed my 300-hour advanced yoga training, I stand on the cusp of a new chapter. My mission is clear: to guide others—especially those juggling careers and life’s chaos—to discover harmony within themselves. I believe that balance isn’t a distant ideal; it’s a daily choice. Through movement, mindfulness, and simple, intentional practices, I want to show that peace is accessible to everyone. My journey has taught me that resilience, authenticity, and community are the keys to living a fulfilled life. And I am here to help others unlock that truth within themselves.
