How to Align Your Mind, Body, and Soul: Tips from a Consciousness Guide

In this episode, we discuss ways to align your mind, body, and soul to keep a consistent practice. “Nous hugieis en somati hugiei” is an ancient Greek saying that means “healthy mind in a healthy body.” This phrase was used to explain that a healthy body can sustain a healthy mind. In this episode, we explored how we can achieve this.

The body is our temple, and our everyday habits can have a huge effect on the body. The same is true for our mind. Our behavior, intention, how we treat others and ourselves can have a huge impact on our soul. It takes a while to get in tune with your body and understand what it needs. However, it all goes back to being mindful and paying attention to the signs.

We usually think of the following four categories that we need to nurture to stay healthy all-around:

  1. Diet
  2. Exercise
  3. Stress – that we usually feel in our gut
  4. Sleep – 7-8 hours/night

A lot of us do not realize that what we eat directly affects our mood. Eating fast food is easy and temporarily satisfying, but over time it really affects us in a negative way. You can try eating only fast food for a week and see how that makes you feel. Your energy will start slowing down, and you won’t have the motivation to do as much. If you try switching to a healthier diet for a week, though, and combine it with exercise, you will feel lighter and have a more positive attitude about life.

In regards to exercise, it’s amazing to see that when you exercise a couple of days a week, it helps you be more present when you show up to the rest of your activities.

If you start paying attention to the signs, you can bring awareness to the fact that you are stressed, breathe into that feeling, and focus on the action. There are many times that we do not even realize that we are stressed, and we let that physical pain take over. This can affect our performance and in general cause a lot of side effects. So next time you feel that pain in your gut, it is telling you that you need to take a breath, believe in yourself and kill this presentation!

Now, let’s explore a couple more dimensions to the discussion of health and alignment.

We are joined by Charlie Sage, a Consciousness Guide, Holistic Life Coach, and Energy Specialist. Her soul mission in this life is to lovingly guide others back to their soul so they can remember who they are, connect back to their “I Am” Consciousness and create the life they were born to live on this Earth. She is the creator and CEO of the holistic healing business Project Align where she lovingly coaches humans in activating their power through mindful somatic workouts, energy healing circles, workshops, masterclasses, and retreats. She also serves as a corporate consultant where she shares her teaching through wellness events, seminars, and business retreats.

Charlie explains how she can show people how important consciousness is and where it is stored inside all of us. It seems that all we are is consciousness inside a human body, and all we need to do is learn how to navigate through it. We are all on our journey of getting to know who we are.

Charlie says that one of the most transformative times in her life was when she learned to let go of control and trust the universe. She realized that everything happens for a reason, and that we are here to experience life, not control it.
