Cradled by nature and saltwater and sun—
I remember the simplicity of just being.

It’s where I reconnect.
Where I come back to gratitude.
Where my cup refills—softly, quietly, fully.

When I left Greece, I wasn’t just chasing a new country.
I was chasing myself.

It was the beginning of my independence—
A journey of becoming,
Of breaking patterns,
Of learning who I am when no one’s watching.

It was exciting.
But it was also messy.
Lonely at times, and full of uncertainty.

And then—I found yoga.
This practice became more than movement.
It became my anchor.
A sacred pause where I could listen—
Really listen—
To what I actually needed.

It turned into my way of surviving.
Of healing.
Of coming home to myself,
No matter where I was in the world.

Greece is where my roots are.
The US is where I found my voice.
And yoga…
Yoga is where I found home.

Because of this journey,
I now know what it means to truly come back to yourself—
And I feel called to share that with others.
To show that this practice is more than poses.
It’s a tool to ground, to grow, to come home—
Wherever life takes you.

started the morning with a quick workout (hotel gym or even 20 mins in the room makes such a difference when traveling)
then headed to the beach + pool — it rained a bit, but honestly? it was kind of perfect. slower mornings are underrated.

🌧️ tip: pack a light jacket + something cozy even for beach trips — miami weather flips quick!

dinner at Casa Faena (formerly Old Gitano) — such a hidden gem.
✨ cozy, tropical, moody lighting, and perfect for a slow dinner with great cocktails.

wellness tip: don’t stress about routines while traveling. move a little, rest a lot, be where your feet are 🤍

What to do as soon as you land in Miami?

Land, check in, and go straight to the beach—because let’s be real, that sun hits different here. ☀️

For dinner, we kept it simple: either stay in and unwind… or head to the Versace Mansion.
I usually avoid South Beach (too hectic for me), but the mansion is worth it—for the decor alone. If you go, try the filet mignon and the cacio e pepe.

What’s a better way to release some tension prior to your wedding? Take a vacation! If you can :)

We literally used alll of our credit card points and Delta’s companion ticket and made a little trip to release the tension from all the wedding planning. Follow for part 2 for more good options.

Namaste City is all about finding balance in the chaos—and sometimes, that means stepping away from it all to breathe, reset, and enjoy the little things.
